Artist's Comments

"The Eye of Spring chooses it's Keeper, channeling their life force into the turning of seasons. They are blinded, for only the Eye may see what is to come. At the end of the Keeper's life, the Eye chooses another being through which to channel the coming of spring."

I christined my new sketchbook with this drawing, and ended up going pretty far with it. Done with the whole shebang of mediums! 90% Prismacolor marker, 10% graphite, colored pencil and acrylic, on 9" X 12" smooth bristol.

What about seeing eye dogs? Are keepers allowed to have those? What about crazy robot eyes? Wait, what if they didn't SEE the world, but they had the powers of ECHOLOCATION?! Kinda like bats, dolphins, Daredevil, or Morgan Freeman.

I am curious is the gender is ambiguous on purpose, it's kind of tripping me out to see the male-ish chest with the female-ish hips! XD
