Commission for *botchiball! I actually finished this one a week or so ago while I was in Arizona visiting my dad, but I didn't have a scanner there, and when I got back to Colorado I forgot all about it! ><; Bad me. *slaps wrist*
This Griffon is a companion to a race called Avians. It is very intelligent and built a lot like a large heavy dog. Thi version of a Griffon cannot achieve true flight, but use their smaller wings and fan tail to glide. They have extra talons on each wing to help with climbing and manipulating objects when not in flight. Had a ton of fun with the colour scheme of this one. Half dog half hawk colouring! Done with Markers, pencil (as in graphite) and a tad of acrylic paint. Copyright to Katie Hofgard |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
