And the last holiday card commission is done, for *bloodhound-omega! I went a little overboard with this one since it's so close to christmas by now, giving Bloodhound a full background instead of a simple partial one. The big hooved critter is called a Nopey, and the black canine there (bloodhound) isn't a werewolf, but a special species *bloodhound-omega made up called a Bloodhound. They are trecking across a wintery part of their home planet, which has three moons, to deliver special parcels to special people. ^^
I like how the Nopey turnes out personally, he was pretty hard to make into a believable animal at first. I had to do some Nopey warm-up sketches, and look at some deer and buffalo photos to kind of get an idea of how he might move. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Bloodi's bright nose looks so funny. *snickers* It really sticks out a lot and reminds me of Rudolph the Reindeer that way. He looks so... wonderfully curvy. No joke! I like that!
