I've been going through my sketchbook and using markers to finish off my favourite sketches. The ones I REALLY like I'm going to post individually, then later I'll have big sketch dump.

I figure dogs would have a hard time keeping up with wing preening. Do you know how stinky they can get sans wings? XD So here's Wolf Nymph struggling to groom an itch out of her wing. Grrr.... *chews*

This was a really loose sketch that happily turned into something I really like. I think I'm starting to learn to colour only with markers better (prismacolors). I did use a little bit of white pencil here, but previously I use colored pencils pretty heavily, mixed in with watercolour and acrylic with my markers.

Great job overall on the coloring. I see that you have used several different media for the coloring process, and the end result turned out pretty nicely. There is some sense of texture in the furs and feathers.

Why thank you! With this one I actually only used markers and a teensy tad of white coloured pencil (you can see the highlights on the wings). It's pretty much all marker, usually I'm much more into mixed media. ^^

I like how the lines seem less prominent the further it is from the viewer (like on the right wing). Very nice work with the textures and the patterns on the wings! :)

Love this she looks perfect, if she's a new species I can see having to learn stuff that wouldn't be covered by instincts, and proper grooming of wings would be a big thing so they don't get itchy
