Artist's Comments
This painting is actually two years old, but I recently revamped it to correct the lighting and a few other points. I was never totally happy with it, but I'm feeling better about it now that I've fixed it up. It originally looked like this: [link] The original 8.5" X 11" painting will be for sale at the Anthrocon 2009 Art show, and the starting bid will be fairly low since it's an older painting.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. I know where I'm from and I told ya before,
North of America hard to ignore.
Every time I go away I tell them for sure.

Big improvement made just by correcting the lighting, and changing the pupils.
The larger pupils look much better, and so does the lighting. Gives it way more ambiance than before.
The coloration on the trees matches a lot more now too.
