For a little while there I was constantly drawing Cyrus, he's all over my sketchbook in one thick section. I thought it'd be cool to turn Wolf Nymph into one of his general species. The sand dragon is just his breed, there are dozens of other breeds in his world all over the the globe in different climates. I tried to match Nymph as best I could to his sand dragon breed (with the spots and all), and it turned out pretty cool. I've had this in my sketchbook for so long, and I really liked it, so it's about time I did something with it (even if it's not what I originally intended). I have so many sketches I want to go somewhere with and no time for all of them that this is the furthest they will go; no backgrounds, just coloured and given a place in my gallery. I hope I can get to some of the other ones before my sketchbook runs out of paper. If I can do that, I even want to get to a few from my previous sketchbook. In the meantime, back to school and life!
Saw this on VCL and had to come over dA to comment. Had to stare this for a while, my jaws open. You created such wonderful species, good work! And the pose; she looks like she's in the middle of dance of some kind...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
