Lord, isn't this emo! XD Drew this earlier this year to address some anger issues I was having at the time, and because it's a shameless werewolf picture with reference to my other shameless werewolf character: [link] Originally I tried this in acrylic, but the painting lay unfinished for so many months. So I started over using a quicker technique with markers, watercolour and coloured pencil.

It's supposed to represent how anger (the black stuff) comes from deep within yourself, and sometimes you gotta rip into your core to remove it. It can get a little bloody, as you can see. I was also trying to make the connection between Wolf Nymph (this brown wolf) and Shadow Wolf (black wolf linked to above), how they are the same character but one is taken over by the essence of power, anger and other dark desires.

and you know, it was also fun to draw. =)
