Today I tried a new way of painting digitally, which is much closer than painting traditionally and looks much more painterly! ~wwsf was my guinea pig this time around, this is actually a character I designed for him!
Unfortunately this way of working really hurt my hands, which is a bummer because I really like the way this looks. I'm going out on a limb and taking commissions for this painterly type of commission to see how well I do when I practice them more, but slots are really limited because of that pain.

This is absolutely brilliant!
Might I add it is a rare gift to be able to mix proper physique, movement, shading and an eye for textures and feather/fur patterns?
