Hey everyone! Need a little feedback from you all. I'd still like to offer everyone commissions, but I'm getting a little burned out on badges... =/ I have at least 15 more to do here, and once they are done, I'm going to need to do something different for a while so I don't start producing crappy artwork as a symptom of being burned out on one thing.

I'd like to keep it small and managable, so no full illustrations. Biggest thing I can manage is single and maybe double character portraits. So here are a few options, and I thought I'd ask you guys as the customers, what your preference is!

~Full Body Character Portraits (8.5" X 11")
~Real Media Icons (2" X 2")
~Bookmarks (approx. 6.5" X 2", tassels included)
~ACEOs (2.5" X 3.5" illustrations)
~Pet Portraits (for REAL pets, not your characters, 5" X 7")
~Custom Sticker sets (3-5 images, approx. 3" in size)
~Other suggestions?

I can open up several options at once, of course, so there's something in everyone's price range. And I can get back to badges once I feel less burned out on them, because I know mant of you were looking to get your paws in a pelt badge.

Until then, I'm in Arizona right now, getting a little work done out here. Not much, but enough to keep me from falling behind. Once I get back to Colorado, I'll get in a good work week or to and hopefully blast through my list like mad!

Speaking of which, I updated my commission queue so that ALL my commissions are listed publicly. Check out the link at the bottom of my journal for your status if you have an outstanding commission from me, or just want to see how busy I am. XD

And last note... I want to CSS my journal, but know NOTHING about it. I don't need something custom with my art on it (though that would be cool), just something to snazz it up a little, something simple, maybe in greens or earth tones. Any ideas out there?

Badge slots are all full guys! Thanks for the quick responses again, I appreciate the huge interested in my badges, and I promise I will try to get to everyone who is interested. I am going to open up again on July 13th!

The new rules are that one slot is allowed per person, one badge per slot. Also, I am posting this on my livejournal. Comment THERE to be added to the list! There are five slots available this time. I haven't finished the last round yet, but I promised everyone I would open on this date so I'm keeping it a low number so I can manage finishing all these. Each badge is done in markers and colored pencils (maybe some acrylic) on bristol. They are laminated and come with a badge clip also. I can do a variety of badge styles, so here's what I have:

I prefer Paypal, but I'll also take international and domestic money orders, and US checks. Paypal charges fees for me to accept payments, so $1.50 - $2.50 will be added to every badge payment through paypal! (depending on the price of the badge style you choose) I will get started on your badge sooner if you use paypal though, because it's fairly instant.

How to reserve a spot!

~Comment on livejournal first, first come first serve!
~Once I respond saying you have the spot, Email me with these details:
--- 1) Name, shipping address and name on badge
--- 2) Type of badge you want
--- 3) visual references for your badge character and written details (mood, expression, color, pose, etc)

I will email you back with your total amount to pay. Please do not pay me before I let you know your total! Shipping costs vary across the world, and your character may be complex enough to warrant a few extra dollars. Once I receive payment I will update your status to paid on the queu, and start work!

Please also note that I am in Arizona until the 5th if July, so while I can work on these I can't scan them or mail them out! I'll have plenty of work time once I get back to Colorado too.

Just an update for those of your who have commissioned me (badges or otherwise) about where I'm at schedule-wise! I've been working hard on everything under the sun for my sister's wedding, from pre-wedding preparation (all the beauty stuff to make me a proper girly girl for the day of), to putting together favors, and MOST of all I've been working my butt off on her wedding cake topper. I will post photos of it when it's done, but for now know that all my spare time has been dedicated to that this entire week.

Also!

My trip to Arizona is delayed so I can make it to a wedding of a friend of mine, as well as to give me some breather time to get artwork done and catch up a little. Next week I'm going to try to get to half the badges on my list (five of them,) but some time needs to be spent working on other commissions as well. The means Tizzrah, you'll finally get the sketch for your piece. Wes, same with you... And Botchi, I'll get the revised sketch to you asap! Also to Badger, going to create the background for your piece and get it transferred onto some bristol or illustration board. Painting time after that!

The BIGGEST priority for me after my sister's wedding cake topper, is my brother's business logo for his business (He's a mechanic, a Vanogen/Eurovan specialist). It's essentially a small illustration, but since he'd already "paid" me with a ton of work on my car from a long time ago, I need to get that done for him.

What all this means is that I won't be opening up for badges again for a little longer than I thought. The date will be Sunday, June 29th!! Hopefully by then I'll have everything from the last round done, and have caught up to some other commissions. I'll be working while in Arizona with my dad so I don't fall behind as well.

Hey everyone! For some reason I thought June 1st was Monday, but it's today! So I'm opening badge commissions today instead of tomorrow, sorry for the mix up. XD

Anyway, badges! Each badge is done in markers and colored pencils (maybe some acrylic) on bristol. They are laminated and come with a badge clip also. I have black lanyards if you prefer, but they are $1 extra. I can do a variety of badge styles, so here's what I have:

Lately someone has been trying to hack into my livejournal and my gaiaonline account... I've notified both sites of the issue, but I'm not sure which of my online haunts this person will hit up next. So I'm issueing a warning to anyone who is kind enough to read this and keep an eye out!

If you notice any suspicious activity on my account, don't hesitate to do something about it! Here are some things I would consider suspicious:

~deleting of artwork or journals
~uploading things that aren't mine
~comments or journal making that simply doesn't sound like me, or is out of character
~innactivity for prolonged periods (several weeks)

I don't know if this will help or hurt, but I'm a little freaked someone is targeting me. Any advice is appreciated....
